To that end the best manufacturers have appointed such representatives to introduce and seek applications for their products, without such activity sales will not follow.
However, despite doing the same function the international community do not always liaise with their counter parts around the world, when the pressure of work is high and problems are mounting, communicating with colleagues in other countries is not in the forefront of our thinking.
The intent of the alliance is to improve business by the sharing of information and working together, it is believed that this is a huge positive for all, alliance members, customers and manufacturers. Our collective experience and market knowledge is greater than its individual parts.

Membership of the alliance is by invitation and will only be offered to privately owned technical representative businesses, because it is the technical sales interface with customers, pursuing applications, that separates us from the stocking distribution businesses.
We carry stock to support our applications, we share stock data and have a fair pricing structure to allow onward sale to new applications where manufacturers initial lead time would prevent further progress, this has been a huge benefit in securing new work.
We believe by offering our customers the benefit of our combined coverage, experience and knowledge we will develop more business as many more contracts are multinational by nature and designed and built in several different countries. We have agreed policies for handling these cross border contracts between us, both technically and commercially.
